Its well-equipped Warehouses for Handling & Storage services can handle up to 120,000 tons of cargo per annum. TMA offers Ramp and Cargo Handling services to various kinds of aircraft of both cargo and passenger airlines with an ensured quick, efficient and safe service, including the handling of special cargo such as Livestock, Dangerous Goods, Valuables, Perishables, and Medicines. TMA’s clients also benefit from a dedicated Customs checkpoint and the well-equipped Storage facilities at R.H.I.A. and a Strong Room for the storage of Valuables.

TMA, currently is handling aircraft of following airlines; Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, Midex, MNG (Charter Cargo), Med Airways and Imperial Airways.


b- Warehouse Capacity and Size:

Covering around 11,000 Sqm at RHIA, TMA encompasses 3 connected warehouses dedicated to Import, Export and well equipped Palletization area.

• Export and Palletization Warehouse: 5,600 sqm, capacity 88 mounted pallets plus a working area of 35 pallets. This terminal is equipped with two electronic scales (capacities 13,000 lbs and 8,400 lbs). Area is also quipped with a scanner machine and an electronic scale (capacity 1,200 lbs).
• Beirut Import Warehouses: 3,412 sqm, capacity can accommodate 100 tons at the same time on shelves and another 30 tons on skids.

c- Storage Facilities

• Strong Room: Two strong rooms for Valuable cargo, reinforced with aluminium sheets, 50 cbm (dimensions: 580x260x290 and 430x260x290cm).
• Dangerous Goods Room: 150 cbm (dimensions 630x800x500 cm)
• New Cold Storage:
  A new Cold Storage center, modern and wide in space 320 sqm, can contain 1750 cbm, is constructed, the aim of which, is to serve various parties, airlines, exporters and importers of perishables, flowers and medicines by providing required temperature for their cargo that helps keep the good image of Lebanese products to arrive to clients in final destinations in the best possible condition. The center is divided into two separate rooms; one is a fridge housing temperatures of +2 to +8 degrees Celsius powering at 15 horsepower, the second is a fridge at temperature of +8 to +24 degrees Celsius powering at 30 horsepower.

d- Ground Handling Equipment

In an attempt to improve its ground handling skills, retrieve back its strength in this field and ensure quality and reliability of its services, TMA, has bought new Ground Handling Equipment, most of which are environment friendly. This equipment helps in servicing safely various types of aircraft such as; B727, B737, B757, B767, B787, B777, B747, A300, A330, DC10, MD11, A319, A320, A321, A340, A380.
TMA will be building a new Cargo Village according to our new business plan starting year 2013. The Cargo Village will be completed mid year 2014. Meanwhile TMA has ordered new shelving systems for its warehouse which is going to be renovated and reorganized to be able to meet industry requirements up to international standards.
